Photographer Hrair Hawk Khatcherian will give a presentation titled “A Photographic Journey Through Western Armenia and Ararat” on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 7 pm in G-Hall of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of America (Eastern), located at 630 Second Avenue at 34th street. This event is hosted by the Krikor and Clara Zohrab Information Center and the Armenian Network of America Greater New York Region and is free and open to the public. A wine and cheese reception will follow the presentation.

With thousands of books, videos, maps, pictures, and other resources, the Krikor and Clara Zohrab Information Center, founded in 1987, helps researchers, academics, teachers, and the community-at-large learn about the Armenian community and its rich history. The holdings of the center include extensive information on the history and customs of the Armenian Church and the American Dioceses, the Armenian Genocide, and the current Armenian political culture.
